Just after pulling onto Old Highway 183 (the road the runs behind Callahan’s) from Brushy Creek, heading north, the road veers slightly to the right. It’s straight for a couple of a hundred yards then, and you can see a dumpster at the end of the straight part (the dumpster is for the fire station). Watch that dumpster! I’ve been nailed by a Cedar Park cop sitting in a cruiser hiding partially behind it, and I’ve spotted motorcycle cops fully behind the dumpster numerous times. I see them most right around dusk. They aim their radar guns back down the straightaway to catch people accelerating away from Brushy Creek. The motorcycles are funny, though: The cops must not realize that the cycles are longer than the dumpster. If it looks like the dumpster has reflectors on it, watch out! The reflectors are really mounted on the cycles.
