Cedar Park, Texas Speed Traps
N FM 620 the east bound under 183 overpass
He’s parked under the 183 over pass on the east bound side of 620 probably waiting for people coming from shooters
4300 E. Whitestone Blvd
Motorcycle cops working together with radar to catch speeders. Obviously not present to “Serve and Protect” but to write as many tickets as possible for the “All Mighty Dollar”.
Lynwood and E. Park St.
They park under a tree at the traffic circle and shoot their radar down Lynwood which has a downward slope. easy to roll over the 30 MPH speed limit. Turn the corner and it is 40 MPH? It seems designed to throw you off.
Just know that when you are driving in CP you are under surveillance. There are multiple cameras and radars pointed at you at all times. Police are everywhere. Break the speed limit by 1-2 MPH or cross that yellow line they go straight for your wallet.
Hatch Road hill slopes down from RR 620
Hatch Road is wide and slopes down. Officers will park at daycare parking lot or in woods across from ballfields and catch drivers as they naturally accelerate down the hill. You will always see them pointed towards the cars coming down the hill, not in the opposite direction. That’s why this is such a good trap for them. Keep your foot on the brake, 30 mph all the way!
Old Mill Rd park near lakeline Blvd
Only stretch of Old Mill that drops to 25 mph. They will sit along road or in parking lot of community center. Favorite spot for all types of law enforcement–constables, sherrifs, and police. Don’t know why we need so many officers ticketing from this one speed trap!
