Baldwin PD sets within 200yds before speed limit sign, nail you before u can slow down for the speed limit change. I had my cruise set @ 54 within the 10 mile buffer @ they nailed me @ 61 over 45, when I asked to see the RADAR to confirm speed, he said he could not get me out @ show me for my safety because it was @ night, I asked the officer to mark the tape for court, @ court the tape was played, the judge dismissed the ticket. Due to fact he didn’t show me the RADAR. I know the GA speed laws fairly well however 1/1000 people do know them. Rarely take time to fight tickets. Towns like this one are getting rich from speed traps like this.

wow.... you sure know your Georgia law. They aren't required by Georgia law to SHOW you the radar. They are required by law to test the radar at the beginning and end of every shift. They are also required to ask you if you would like them to test the radar for it's accuracy, and of course to do so if you request it. Nowhere in Georgia state law or in any supreme court case law does it require them to show it to you. Each such test shall be made in accordance with the manufacturer's recommended procedure. (b) Each county, municipal, or campus law enforcement officer using a radar device shall notify each person against whom the officer intends to make a case based on the use of the radar device that the person has a right to request the officer to test the radar device for accuracy.
