On ramp to I-90

Was ticketed for speeding up 50 feet from 40 mile an hour sign. The two cars ahead of me were leaving me behind yet I was the one stopped. The officer said I was doing 40 mph, but I doubt I was doing more than 34 or 35. I felt then and now that it was because I had out of state plates. Anyway it cost me $100 and I was offered a court date about a month after issue to contest it.

Comments:
I can empathize with you. This is one of those slime governed towns that use the police department as revenue agents to survive. With only 1,000 residents and not much commerce they harass and extort money from those passing through with some of the most outrageous charges to keep their town afloat. It's disgusting.
