Papermill Road near Bridge
When I came down Rt. 72 South (Papermill Rd.) heading towards Newark, the Newark cop was sitting across the street from Timothy’s Restaurant but a little up on the hill next to the big high voltage towers/fences. His patrol car was parked on an angle next to the fence and he was outside shooting his radar gun on top of a tripod. He would walk out onto the road and point for you to pull over if you are speeding. The speed limit there is 25 mph. You can’t see him right away but he can see your speed at the light right before the bridge when you are going south. By the time you slow down and see him at the bridge, it is too late. He can see you as you are coming down the hill at the light. 25 mph is too slow because as I was doing this speed limit, all the cars were almost touching each other or tail gaiting. He is only shooting one way so it is easy to walk out on the road. So if you are doing 25 mph and a car passes you going the other way at 45, it will look like you are speeding.
