Pine Lane East of Twenty Mile Road

Parker, ColoradoApr 07, 20101 Comments

If you turn west onto Pine Lane from Parker Road, just past Twenty Mile Road there is a bridge over Cherry Creek. This is a divided road with two lanes in each direction, and the speed limit is 35. For some reason, it’s very easy to get up to 45 or 50 (maybe the wideness of the road?) and there is usually a patrol car on the other side of the bridge. By the time you see him, it’s too late! He’s already got you on radar as you crest the bridge.

Comments:
This used to be a very popular speed trap for Parker Police but now that they have construction going on over there on apartment complexes the police have stopped using it as a speed trap.
