Reid Road

Gibsons, British ColumbiaNov 07, 20062 Comments

Reid is a quiet country/residential road that is a shortcut to Langdale ferry terminal. No sidewalks with lots of pedestrian and vehicle traffic makes this an obvious and needed trap area. Traps are usually set in the AM but have been seen randomly.

Comments:
Yes, I used to live across the street from their Reed Road trap. They always set up under the trees on the south side of Reed just west of Park Road. Note: It's REED Road, not Reid Road.

Yes it is Reed Road and more so a Speed Trap today because of the lane changes made to the main highway which causes bottlenecks during ferry times, if you think that taking this route saves time then exit at Payne Rd then to the Light at Gibsons Way, (there is that little right lane there to turn into IGA) which can be used to merge onto Gibsons Way, if you go all the way to Henry you get bottled necked at the Stop sign and Police watch for people not coming to a full stop at the sign.
