Route 11 traveling north into town
After climbing Pinette Hill, the road descends and then there’s a long straight stretch just as enter the town limits. This stretch drops to 45 miles and hour and then 25 miles an hour as you enter town. These conditions: a straight stretch after climbing a hill and a decreased speed limit are perfect for a trap and the local authorities know it. It’s not uncommon to see a patrol car at the end of the straight stretch or as you descend into the town limits.
