Be careful using Rt 19 South heading toward the Garden State Parkway in Clifton. I was coming home from work one day (Friday before Memorial Day weekend), driving in the left lane because that’s where the GSP exit is, and some cop comes jumping out into the middle of the highway waving me off into the grass (very dangerous situation; if I had ran his sorry butt over, I wonder whose fault it would have been?).I noticed his buddy on the side had a radar gun. He told me he clocked me at 72, but when I looked at the ticket, it said 73 (lied, what a shock). Then he stated emphatically that "[they] were out there to write summones, and that’s what [he’s] gonna do." It was a fund raiser for the Clifton Police Department on a holiday weekend. it’s a legal racket and it stinks. Watch out if you use 19 S to the Parkway.
