Route 36 (Main Street) on approach to village at 30 MPH sign
The trap is located after the 45MPH signs. Within a very short distance the speed is reduced to 30MPH. The police hide behind some shrubs and the town sign.If you don`t reduce speed quickly you will roll past the 30MPH sign still doing 45.The police are very agressive and part-timers with a nasty attitude preying heavily upon the unaware tourist passing through.This is the situation entering town from both the East and West into town on Rt.36

What the author did not say is that the school is located just past the first sign and often there are kids walking to/from school and the Greenway trail is located just to the right in that area, also. If you are not going 40, you will be okay.
The speed limit drops from 55 to 45 to 30 in the space of less than a mile, most of it while in the country and before a town is evident. Most navigation systems for tourists take you through this area, so many are unsuspecting if unfamiliar with the roads. I received my ticket on a weekend night at midnight, so kids and a school have nothing to do with it.
