now that the paper mill in franklin is closed the suffolk p.d. revenue officers no longer have over loaded log trucks to collect fines.. these revenue officers are now working route 58 as speed enforcement officers..the roadway is poorly maintained and there are several pot holes and pavement is broken up in several apots.. speed limit is being changed all the time some areas tnat were 55 mph are now 60 mph and some are now 45 mph.. the area is rural and 4 laned with a unmowed median in middle.. the revenue officers are fighting to keep their jobs suffolk is deep in debt and are facimg major cut backs..
