Speedtrap is on S Fair Oaks Ave between Milwaukee Street and Atwood Ave and the officer usaully hides in the Kessinichs driveway or the road leading to the old Garver feedmill by Olbrich Garden. Both I and my husband got speeding tickets within a matter of weeks from each other. I was driving the 1989 Olds stationwagon with my 11 yo son in the front seat and my husband got a ticket on a Saturday night with our old beater 1985 Chevy Truck and the officer asked if he had any drugs or guns in the back. I’m 55 and never received a speeding ticket in my life and my husband hadn’t gotten one for over 12 years. I’ve driven this same stretch of road/street since 1991 with no previous problems. Appears to be an overzealous officer on this beat eager to take money out of the pockets of the poor Madison residents who receive little "good service" for all the money we pay, and tickets like these are totally unnecessary-my children need this, not the Madison Police Dept.
