S. Frederick Ave. 100 block

Six lane road that is 35-45 mph elsewhere in county. Here, the speed limit drops to 30 and there is a speed camera. There is inadequate signs indicating that the speed limit is so low.

Comments:
This camera causes accidents - people suddenly start to brake in the middle of traffic. It is there for schools - but operates all the time - it clearly is a moneymaker - perhaps the City of Gaithersburg would be so kind as to share how much money this camera has made from the public in an unvoted tax. Our family has incurred 4 of these tickets at this camera alone - this is a money grab - and its wrong.

Another complete joke in Montgomery county. Totally causes accidents and I avoided one barely when going over the hill, cars in front and in left lane slammed on brakes. Had to move to right lane fast to avoid and get in front of cars just behind me in lane to right. When are the people going to stand up for this kind of crap. Its not about safety its about money. Boy this county has gone south badly over the years. Notice the speed limit they supposedly say you were captured at. Always the same. Someone within the politburo of Montgomery county has to stand up for the people and not their wallets.
