Sawtelle Ave between Pico and National Blvds.

It’s near a school and they set up with radar and two or three motorcycles under the freeway. It has been there for over TEN years and they still catch people every week!

Comments:
The radar detected me speeding at 53 mph in a 35 mph zone heading south on Sawtelle Bl between Pico and National. It was 9:40pm, visibility was perfect, about a half mile, there was zero traffic and no pedestrians and no parked cars on either side of a 4 lane street. This street is tricky because it's so quiet and empty at night, it seemed totally safe to do 53mph. I know the police have been camping out next to the middle school just out of view for many years. Unfortunatley I forgot and was suprised to see them there at 9:40 at night. THIS IS A TOTAL SPEED TRAP. I was cited for vehicle code 22350 violating the basic speed law. I PLAN TO FIGHT THIS ONE, My speed never endangerd people or property and through the internet I have learned how to fight this ticket. SEE YOU IN COURT!
