Two lanes each direction with new homes on East side and Military base to the west No safe shoulder on the west at all to pull over on if stopped by DPS.From Fry Blvd ( post main gate) very congested at AM commute times. Most drivers drive at 55 to 60 mph once past Willcox. There is always a DPS patrol coming north looking to snag someone. The 45 then 50 mph is way under what this minor beltway should be posted at. The North Bypass has more cross traffic and is posted @ 55 and I have often been next to City patrols and DPS doing 60 mph there.
At the current rate of $13.00 per mile over the posted speed it’s a pricey fine for the average 60 mph pace this road moves. It’s rare to see someone doing the posted limit!
It’s a sure sucker bet!
