Speed limit goes from 55 to 40 in a hurry while traveling downhill. My radar detector went off well before the 40 mph sign. Needless to say he claims i was speeding. yeah, right

I was driving through Mt. Vernon and had my cruise control on set for 65. The speed changed quickly to 55, I was slowing down when I was pulled over by a cop. I exspalined I had it on cruse control and was slowing down, that it came quickly, but he didn’t care. Wrote me a ticket. I’ve never had a ticket in my life until now. I’m from out of state and he saw and easy target. When I said that to him he told me that was my option. Then gave me a speech about making sure I made a copy, sent in the payment so I didn’t have a warrant out for my arrest.
