I'm now 65, and used to go with Dad to Grand Isle and fish, crab, rent cabins for weekends, dine in restaurants, purchase gasoline (SPEND MONEY in Grand Isle), but no more. GM "peace officers/terrorists" will actually follow a vehichle with a bumper-to-bumper clearance of 2 feet or less, FORCING the tourist/traveler to err in some way! It's happened to Me; I know! So now I don't go to Grand Isle; perhaps Grand Isle politicians should file suit against Golden Meadow municipalicy for a LARGE portion of the fines GM receives, in compensation for the lost revenut to the community of Grand Isle! GM is effectively blocking all entry into Grand Isle because only the affluent have the resourses to "pay the TOLL" to travel a PUBLIC highway to visit Grand Isle, and therefore should be compensated. What a sick town (Golden Meadow) !
