In 2009 LA passed a law that says if any ticket is issued for 1 to 9 MPH over the posted limit, the state gets the fine. This eliminates small towns getting rich on just a couple of miles over the posted limit.
Totally poorly marked. That's how that town gets its revenue. And what do they use it on? The fines are completely outrageous, they take away your entire weekly salary. Shame on you Golden Meadow, you should change your name to Bloody Meadow.
