State Highway 10 near Salem Street

Randolph, New JerseyOct 30, 20071 Comments

While heading West on Route 10 approaching the Kmart plaza the police sit on the small median on Salem Street facing route 10. Often monitoring radar, but appear to be more focused on cars exiting route 10 for inspection stickers or excessive speed leaving the highway. Often they will have several cars on Salem Street pulling cars off the road for inspection.

The post is entirely accurate, but is 3 years old. I've not heard of this being done for a while. This was an example of policing gone mad. The police would shunt all of the rt. 10 westbound traffic, which is considerable, into one lane and look for expired inspection stickers. This was a blatant disregard for the hapless motorist driving on busy rt. 10.
