Officers sit in the southbound lanes of 141 between Big Bend to the south and Brittany Parkway to the north. This is the only stretch of 141 where the speed limit drops to 45 from 50mph. There are no signs indicating the change of speed limit. I travel this route every day and I have never not seen someone pulled over, no matter what time of day or night. The state of Missouri decided that 50mph was a safe speed for the entire lenght of 141 yet only the city of Manchester dropped the limit to 45mph and post officers here 24/7. If this is not the definition of a speed trap, I don’t know what is !
