State Highway 16 – Range Road near From Downtown to Magnolia Beach Road
Beginning at Downtown Denham Springs and continuing for approximately 1 mile into the school zone are Denham Springs Police with speed trap guns. Continuing further past the school up until Magnolia Beach Road are Livingston Parish and Louisiana State Police with radar as well. DO NOT SPEED IN THESE AREAS! They must be making a fortune and the traps are there from early morning to night time on a random basis. They also ticket for not wearing seat belts. They are located behind signs, on both sides of the highway and sometimes in the middle section/medium.
