State Highway 241 near State Highway 261
241 Toll Road is a favorite spot for speeders, as there is usually little to no traffic at all. Going southbound leaving the 91 freeway you go up a very big hill and pay the toll at the top of the hill. After the toll plaza, there is a very big downhill that people take advantage of to test the limits of their vehicles. Speeds have gotten up to 140 mph and beyond. But at the very bottom of the hill there is a curve, and a CHP unit is usually sitting there with his radar on, waiting to nab people flying down that hill!
The same applies going northbound on the 241 Toll Road; people are known to fly down the other direction of the hill very fast towards the 91 freeway, and at the bottom of that hill right before the 91 east and west fork, there is a strip of road for authorized vehicles only, and a CHP vehicle is usually parked there with his radar on, waiting to nab people flying down that hill too!
