State Highway 28 near Norwood Road

On either side of the (new) 28 to 198 extension of Norbeck Road, between Layhill and Norwood. The road is new, two lanes in each direction and divided by a wide, grassy median. East-bound there are no turn-offs (yet) and this road is begging to be run. Perfect for a little revenue generation.

East-bound (I.E., from Layhill towards Norwood), the road comes up a slight hill from the light at Layhill and curves to the leFort Just as you crest the hill and come around the bend, County police are often set up on the right shoulder, just before the light at Norwood. Frequently there are more than one officer, so seeing a victim or two already nabbed doesn’t mean their slots are full. They will often be set-up with a tri-pod (laser) and/or behind a raised trunk lid of an unmarked car to duck, peek and fire.

West-bound (I.E., from Norwood towards Layhill) an officer might be laying in wait with radar in or near the car at the road into the Farm. But, I’ve only seen this a couple of times — and not recently.
