State Highway 41 near Near Chukchanci Casino
Highway Patrol makes a circutious trip up and down Highway 41 (from 5 miles south of Coursegold and as far north as the town of Oakhurst). The speed limit sign changes to ‘maximum’ speed limit of 55 mph, 1/2 south of the Chukchanci Casino. Most people miss it, especially on their hurried way to get to Yosemite National Park. When pulled over, don’t offer any "excuses"…."warnings" are unheard term in that neck of the woods.

The speed limit North of Fresno on 41 is 55 MPH. Slows to 45 before Coarsegold and Oakhurst. More CHPs on 41 than in the city of Fresno. If you speed they will get you. They are very professional BUT don't even bother with excuses, ETC with the female officers.
