State Highway 45 near Few Miles North of The Hermitage
the entire city of Lakewood, TN is a speedtrap though highway 45. the speed limit is 45, which is not very unrestrictive, however, there are always cops sitting along the side roads, behind buildings looking for speeders. it is a small town that i believe lives off tickets.

If you are on the side streets, such as Lakeshore Drive, they will try to get you for speeding 30 in a 25. If you check the 25 mph speed signs, they are yellow which means they are a suggested speed not a posted speed. My brother-in-law got his ticket dismissed when he presented a copy of the driver's manual where that is discussed. They are also running unmarked white sports cars in that area lately. 04/03/10
