State Highway 52
The speed trap is not in Ironton, but West of Ironton at Hanging Rock. This is and has been for years a speed trap. I really don’t understand why the Hanging Rock police can come on US 52 because there are no homes along the highway.

If you think it's bad when just traveling through this area, you should try living here! They don't care about anything but writing you up and collecting your money! I guess it takes a real low life to do that job and they've got a nice collection of those type there as "law enforcement officers"! What a joke! And it really doesn't matter how fast you were going if they decide they want to give you a ticket, then you're going to get one-period. I guess some people just enjoy taking other peoples money who maybe can't afford a ticket. Taking money? I thought that's what "crooks" do, not the cops-my mistake.
