State Highway 95 near Mile Marker 82
Reduced speed limits outside the town limits of Schurz are maintaimed far longer than on other towns along hwy 95.
According to Reno police contact. towns are free to set speed limits and their distances as they see fit, no laws limiting excesses.

We also got stopped near mile marker 82, officer T said we were going 57 mph in a 45 mph. We were not sure of the exact mile marker we were at, had to take his word for it. He was coming from the opposite way we were going and turned around to stop us.. Mile marker 82 must be a magic number for tickets. wish we would have had time to go look. we were pulling a camper and had traveled over 4,000 miles without incident. This is definately a speed trap.
