State Highway Hwy 16/Range Ave.
State Police sit at a church in pairs about one mile past Lockhart going into Denham Springs from Watson. They stand on the side of the road and wave you over. The other is ready in the car if necessary. The limit is 45 (well posted) and they look for any infraction. Sometimes they are there in the afternoons as well.
