State Route 100 near State Route 100A
Driving towards Killington from Ludlow on Route 100N, you enter the township of Plymouth, just after Route 100A intersects with Route 100. The speed limit changes to 35 mph from 50 mph for about 2 miles. The officer is behind the general store/gas station and based on personal experience and observations passing through that area, there is a high level of enforcement.

Southbound Route 100 just north of 100A in Plymouth, VT. 50mph through the woods for miles. Explained to the Windsor county deputy I had no idea had entered a 35mph zone. He smirked and said nobody ever sees the sign from that direction, then declared the location to the tenth of a mile. After writing the ticket he disappeared behind the wall of green obscuring the "village" waiting for the next victim. Obviously doesn't wander far from this lucrative fishing hole.
