State Route 34 near School
Coming from the West on Route 34 into Somonauk. As you pass the school the speed drops considerably and the law is waiting for you a block ahead on the right. Coasting to the posted speed rarely works and the cops seem to enforce based on moods or maybe quotas, it’s hard to say.
Be warned and use your brakes when the speed drops or you may have to pay the piper.
