The police sit in the Parking lot at the Bridgewater Mill Mall facing the corner on the Woodstock side. The speed limit drops from 50mph to 25mph mid-corner with no warning at all.

The speed limit drops from 50 to 35 with a "Reduced Speed Ahead" sign, then it drops from 35 to 25 with a "Reduced Speed Ahead sign". Confirm with Google Earth street view.
A flashing yellow denoting a school zone would be more appropriate. After numerous violations in an area something must be done, especially in a tourist trap area, A warning would be sufficent.
