State Route 43 near Cowley to Michigan Road
Last week speed limits on two major roads through East Lansing were raised ten miles per hour by the Michigan Department of Transportation. The speed limit on Grand River Avenue from Cowley Avenue to where Grand River meets Michigan Avenue went from 25 mph to 35 mph.
The City of East Lansing was opposed to this action and has
responded by strictly enforcing the new speed limits. Monday, they issued 67 tickets. Please keep that in mind in your travels.
