State Route 44/55 near Baker Street
The arterial(rt 44/55), is a brad, highway looking road cutting through the city of Poughkeepsie. It has a posted 30mph speed limit and it is fairly well enforced, with police seetting up radar traps in several parking areas past curves. One I got stopped at was set up at Baker Street, but I have seen them at Clinton and Grand as well. It is very deceiving, because the road looks like a 55 mph zone.

This is, in my opinion, the only regular speed trap in the Poughkeepsie area. Sure, there may ocassionally be cops at those other locations but here at any given time I estimate a 50% chance. This is effectively the same as the one below. This is Rtes. 44/55 east bound, our arterial through the city. There is also quite often radar on the westbound arterial through town.
