This is a stop sign trap rather than a speed trap. A marked, white in color, Santa Clara County Sheriffs deputy "sandbags" this corner waiting for people to make an incomplete stop. The cruiser sits on Murphy Av, just south of Tennant Av. Sometimes he’s on the east side of the street, some times he’s on the west side of the street. I have seen them there quite often around 5pm during weekdays.
