Thunderbird between Dysart Rd & Grand Ave

El Mirage, ArizonaMar 28, 20112 Comments

This section of a four-lane street is 25 mph. Too slow for a four-lane street and too easy to bust the limit.

Comments:
Another disgusting example of thievery by the El Mirage Police. They should be wearing masks instead of badges. Setting up a 25 mph zone on a stretch of road with 4 lanes at 40 mph...genius! Guess somebody has to pay their $25k salaries and the rent on their double-wides. Going forward I will drive around to avoid going through El Mirage. Hope it catches on and the merchants in the area feel the pain.

I have Emailed mayor Mook about wether these speed cam trucks are for our safety or profit and she forwarded my message to the police chief, chief Campbell said "Very little of the fines come back to city coffers" So we are paying a company Red Flex transportation to ticket our citizens for no profit? its crazy and obvious they have a different agenda. they have a truck parked behind an electrical box on varyney street the police chief says the citizens on the street demanded a police presence lol 4 houses face the street! 4 houses so lets go along with the police chiefs story and then ask the question how much money are we spending on these trucks then we can come to the conclusion of how much money we are spending on 4 citizens! I am going to guess 15-20 thousand.
