This is an area that black should not drive through . i passed a cop at an intersection with my window down (i’m black)driving a 88 rusty ford ranger pickup five seconds after another motorist , the cop pulled out and followed me for two miles then pulled me over , he said that the reason he pulled me over was because the tow ball on the bumper of my truck was blocking the view of my plate number. (if you’ve ever seen a pickup with a ball on the bumper you know that this is bull), he checked my papers and all was ok and he let me go . this area is not just a speed trap it is a trap for all non-white , i am not a kid (42yrs old), worked on my job for 23years , i don’t drink nor do drugs and i KNOW that cop was ticked because of that , and on top of all that he stayed on me for 4 miles he let me go , so watch out if you are black and driving through freeport illinois
