stay away from Piney Flats if at all possible. take an alternate route if necessary.
spouce and I have both of our cars photographed. getting camera shy.
What a big stink is brewing in Piney Flats with the non-leadership of the town. They have attempted to stretch the 45 m.p.h. limit for miles and miles in order to comply with the new state law in hopes of recouping lost $$$ after turning off their speed camera. Resignations, firings, the FBI, etc. I drive this rediculous road every day to work from Bristol to JC. Sure, right. It was the business owners who wanted to look like total morons for a scamera. Where else in TN (or the country for that matter) do you have a four lane rural hwy. and have to drive 45 m.p.h. for miles? What, in reality, is about a 6 or 7 mile stretch now feels like 50 miles when you're crawling like a turtle on a straight, four lane hwy.
