The use of unmarked Dodge Chargers is extremely high on this stretch of highway. The speed limit goes from 60 to 55 to 50 to 45 in short order and they love writing those tickets. Also, beware rumor has it they are in the process of buying a 2010 Camaro for speed enforcement.

For sure it is a speed trap. My 19 yo son was going 63mph, below the posted 65mph limit. The speed changed and the cop wrote him up before he had a chance to slow to the new limit. This is his first ticket so he is not a habitual speeder. It was my fault he got the ticket because I forgot to tell him to about the SPEED TRAP.
