I have seen this trap in use regularly and often. This trap is hidden very well. So traveling westbound us 58 proceeding passing local emporia-greensville airport, then the armory. when you hit the armory. You had better break your speed down to 55, because after the us 58 business exit across the highway. The police cruiser ahead sits on eastbound side of the highway, shooting radar at your westbound lanes in a crest of the curve as your car comes around. Then the cop car crosses the opening in roadway from the shoulder of the eastbound side and puts on blue lights and comes right after violator. I travel this road between emporia and franklin. They are always there. Emporia is a major speedtrap. Do not spend your money here. Ever !!!! Go to the next town. Buy gas, food, hotels elsewhere.
