Population of Bradley is approximately 583 people and they have at least 3 police cars and one of them is a Dodge Charger. I have gone through this town numerous times and you will see at least one of their police vehicles parked somewhere on the side of the road shooting radar.I always drive at least 5MPH under the posted speed limit as I don't want to help this town buy new cars. If there ever was a speed trap Bradley, Ark is one. I have never gotten a ticket, but I know people who have and the amount of the fine is ridiculous for even the slighest speed over speed limit.
correction there are 3 chargers in bradley and the hwy 29 and hwy 82 are both 55mph and have never been 65mph so therefore it goes from 55mph to 45mph when you get into city limits, just like all other towns do and down to 35mph when you get closer to where 29 and 82 intersect. just thought you should have your facts straight.
Would like to set the record straight: 1.) Bradley is located on state hwy 29 18 miles South of the where it intersects with state hwy 82. Neither hwy 82 or 29 have 65 mile per hour speed limits. They both have limits of 55 mph. 2.) The speed limits in Bradley drops from 55mph to 45 and then to 40 at or near the intersection of highway 29 and state hwy 160. These signs are clearly visible in both directions. 3.) The State of Arkansas Highway Department sets the limits --- not the City of Bradley.
