At night the Granite Falls PD patrols US 321 North vigorously. The speed limit is 55 but it is a 4 lane highway(2 each way)and it is tempting to exceed the limit. It is not uncommon to see multiple vehicles pulled over at the same time. Granite PD and NCSHP use Mustangs, Chargers and Tahoes as well as 1 Jeep Cherokee and a Camaro. If you make it through Granite Falls you then must pass through Hudson…….patrol cars are visible especially after sunset until the early mornng. As a side note…several traffic lights change to flashing cautions after midnight….be wary and cautious! I have seen numerous accidents.
