you can and or will be ticketed for 52-53-54-55 (speed limit is 55 ) depending how many tickets they are told to write that day or night,(not counting hiway patrol and sheriffs patroling the same highway),the population for this spot in the road is about 50 i think. this has been going on for over 40 years since i was a kid and well warned about it, they went from one used police car, to about six at last count, and one cop to around 7 or eight, with pay scale for each cop one yr.ago when i asked him was around 50.000 k ( wow !) per year and wanting more. so watch out when going east from portsmouth ohio on us 52 til u get past coal grove ohio. i drive 50 through here and still get a mean look from the cops, also they were on the AAA hot list for years routing people around this spot on the road. and they love to get out of state"ers so keep a cool tool when going thru there.

Comments:
In my opinion avoid this area at all cost. From what I had to deal with 250.00 is an average cost if you are stopped !
