US Highway 528
On NM-528 Northbound – after you pass alameda going into corrales, there is a Chevron gas station. Usually late at night 2 cop cars will park side by side, leave their K band radar on, and turn all of their lights off so as not to be noticeable by an average driver.

This village gets a bad rap for speed traps, but mostly unfair. An unlit rural/suburban village near fast highways and byways. Within the village limits the enforcement is fair, speed limits are appropriate. It's of the opinion if you are speeding you are breaking our ordinances possibly endangering you or us. If you can't obey laws and do not exhibit common sense stay on the bypass around Corrales
