The nine mile long strip of road is heavily patrolled. For 3-4 miles it is 30 miles an hour. This is a busy section of town and while going the speed limit I’ve almost hit drivers pulling out of businesses onto 64. I was caught pulling out of the BP and spead up to get into traffic after using the turn lane to pull out as it was rather busy that day. The officer was in oncoming traffic and did a U-Turn to get me. He said he caught me going 40 mph when my spedometer said 35.

I travel through somerville at least 10 times a year and never fail to see at least 2 cruizers using radar and usualy one car pulled over. It’s not quite as bad as oakland, but the speedtrap is about twice as long and 15 miles an hour slower.
