US Highway 93 near Hoover Dam
The speed limit is 35 mph on this stretch of highway coming down the mountain, which is unrealistic and well below what one would expect. City police target tourists coming from Hoover Dam. My ticket was for traveling 63 mph in a 35 mph zone the price was $227.00. The officer admitted the tickets in Boulder are expensive, he told me "the casinos make all the money in the area but the local community does not see any of it."

63 is too fast in that area, is much as I think the BC cops and the town of BC are revenue theives, that is way too fast,.
Boulder City Cops are revenue theives, handing out tickets on adams street while a Meth head is stealing a radio two blocks over. Very sad what the world has come to.
