US Highway Route 6 near Interstate 295
They sit under the 295 bridges with Laser. Usually on the East bound side, but are seen on both sides. With the current construction in the area, they are located in any parking lot from Situate town line, to the Attwood ave light at the town hall. Note: they have a town traffic court.

This trap is particularly ensnaring. Heading east on Route 6 to 295 overpasses, your going down a steep hill with a 35 MPH posted speed limit, which seems to be arbitrarily low as this stretch is 4 lanes in a lightly developed commercial zone. Johnston PD is also tageting out of state cars (usually Connecticut), I presume so as not to upset the local residents as they fill the town traffic court coffers.
Local businesses should take note as your town is gaining a reputation in eastern Connecticut as someplace NOT to go or shop in due to the PD targeting we out-of-staters.
