re Victoria N/B off from N/B 101off .. has any one thought about the THREE (3) "No Right Turn on Red" signs posted in plain sight?? DUH!?! .. its a trap only for the dummies that are to busy on a cell phone to notice the signs or are they in such a hurry to get home for "Speeders" on TV to be observant?? abcarpenter

I have to agree with comment #1. I saw someone make the right turn on red from the freeway offramp and get hit by a vehicle travelling north on Victoria. The light had been red for the freeway traffic for more than 15 seconds and everyone in both cars were seriously injured. Having a VPD unit sitting on the side of the road, even if it is under an overpass, ticketing people who are making ILLEGAL right turns on a red arrow in front of all the "No Turn On Red" signs is not a speed trap. Maybe getting a ticket will prompt the violators, as well as those who see the violators caught, to reconsider running the red light the next time they approach that intersection. Ticketing these violators is more about safety for everyone traveling through that area than it is about just writing tickets.
