Villa Avenue

When I say "moderate" enforcement, this is probably an understatement. Fairfield Police Department has an almost constant presence on Villa Avenue from 5:45 am to 8 am, Mondays through Fridays. This town street is used for commuters who live on the north end of Bridgeport to access Interstate 95 southbound. Fairfield PD knows this and will often have 3 cruisers assigned to this street. As an NMA life member, I know the difference between routine enforcement and what actually constitutes a trap. This one is a legitimate trap, particularly for westbound drivers. There is a curve in the road…the radar unit parks immediately behind a large bush along the curve. Chase cars are parked ahead.
