As you cross the bridge over Lake Blackshear on Hwy 300, you enter Worth County. The speed limit is posted before and after the bridge at 45 for quite a long way, although it’s a 4-lane and nothing there but hick deputies. It has only recently become a speed trap and apparently hired extra deputies to make money. Fines are exorbitant.

The 45 mph speed limit is aggressively enforced and is appropriate (there's plenty there in addition to the "hick deputies"). The patrol cars are in plain view and the limit is posted prominently with ample warning. I go through Warwick several times a week at 5 mph over and am never bothered. If you get stopped you've no one to blame but yourself.
