West or East side of Byron

Byron, WyomingApr 28, 20152 Comments

The speed limit drops to 30 miles an hour long before you enter the divided highway that passes through Byron’s main street. They have a new cop now and he is out to pay for his keep. He will tell you that speeding laws are for the safety of the children. But it is nothing but a source of revenue for the town. Byron used to be a pretty little town, it is now a town that you want to avoid if at all possible

Byron WY got us last week too. Speed dropped to 30 from 65 with only one sign we saw. We got the vehicle down to 39 and cop in white pickup pulled us over. Looked in back of vehicle and says, oh, I see you're traveling. Ticket for $106 less $10 for wearing seat belts. This is the way this little stink town makes their money to pay for their nice new police pickup truck and pretty police station. Stay away from this town!
